Fly Fishing Lodge Programs
Patagonia Drift offers two distinct lodge-based programs in Argentina, each tailored for fly anglers seeking unforgettable experiences, world-class trout fishing, and the comfort of exceptional accommodations.
Whether you prefer classic dry fly fishing in the north or battling chrome-bright sea trout in the south, our lodge programs deliver the best of Patagonia with world-class service and unforgettable water.
Collon Cura Lodge
Located in Northern Patagonia, our lodge on the Collón Curá River is the perfect base to explore one of Argentina’s most productive trout fisheries. Known for its long floating stretches, diverse structure, and high fish density, the Collón Curá offers consistent action with both dry flies and streamers, targeting strong rainbow and brown trout in the 14–22 inch range — with bigger fish always possible.
This program is ideal for anglers looking to combine quality fishing, beautiful landscapes, and easy access from San Martín de los Andes or Bariloche.
Rio Gallegos Lodge
For those seeking bigger challenges and even bigger fish, our lodge on the Río Gallegos in Southern Patagonia is your gateway to the world-renowned sea-run brown trout. These powerful migratory fish average 6–12 pounds, with specimens over 20 pounds caught each season.
Fishing is done on foot, using two-handed or single-handed rods, with a mix of swinging flies and sight fishing in low water conditions. The lodge provides direct access to prime private beats and offers comfortable accommodations, fine dining, and experienced local guides.
