Limay River
The Limay is famous for its trophy migratory brown trout, with fish exceeding 25 inches entering the river during both the spring opener and autumn migration.

Collón Curá River

When Can I Go on an Expedition?
Our expeditions are fully customized and can be scheduled throughout the Patagonian fly fishing season, from November through May.
We’ll help you choose the best dates based on the fishing conditions, your preferred techniques, and the rivers you want to explore.
Because availability is limited, we recommend contacting us well in advance to reserve your preferred dates.
Where Do the Expeditions Take Place?
Our multi-day expeditions take place on some of Northern Patagonia’s most spectacular trout rivers, including the Limay, Collón Curá, Aluminé, and Caleufú.
Depending on water conditions, weather, and your fishing goals, we can customize the itinerary to provide the best possible experience.
Do I Need Fly Fishing Experience?
Not at all.
Whether you’re completely new to fly fishing or an experienced angler, our guides tailor each trip to your skill level.
If you’re a beginner, we’ll teach you everything you need to know—from casting and fly selection to reading the water—so you can enjoy every day on the river with confidence.
Experienced anglers will appreciate our local knowledge and guidance on Patagonia’s most productive waters.
How Many Anglers Can Join an Expedition?
We organize expeditions for solo anglers, couples, friends, and larger private groups.
To provide the highest level of service, we maintain a maximum ratio of two anglers per guide and drift boat.
If you’re traveling with a larger group, additional guides and boats will be arranged.

What Should I Bring?
Patagonian weather can change quickly, so we recommend bringing clothing suitable for a variety of conditions.
A suggested packing list includes:
- Layered outdoor clothing
- Waterproof rain jacket
- Warm fleece or insulated jacket
- Sun hat or cap
- Polarized sunglasses
- Sunscreen and lip balm
- Personal medications
- Camera
If you need waders, boots, or other fly fishing equipment, we’re happy to provide them. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll have everything ready when you arrive.

Patagonia is home to healthy populations of wild brown and rainbow trout. Depending on the river, season, and water conditions, anglers may enjoy dry fly fishing, nymphing, streamer fishing, and the opportunity to catch trophy-sized migratory brown trout exceeding 10 pounds.
What is a typical day like on the river?
A typical day begins with breakfast at camp, followed by a full day floating the river and fishing productive water with your guide. A freshly prepared riverside lunch is served along the way before continuing downstream. In the evening, you’ll return to camp for appetizers, a hearty dinner, fine Argentine wine, and a relaxing campfire under Patagonia’s incredible night sky.
